ESEA Consolidated E-Grants Application 2024-25
Here are some critical dates to remember regarding your 2024 ESEA Consolidated Application.
September 1, 2024: Schools must create their ESEA application in E-grants for 2024-25
September 30, 2024: Schools must submit their application for OPI review
October 31: 2024: All applications must be reviewed and approved by the OPI Federal Programs staff.
Please note that failure to meet the September 1 or September 30 deadline will result in your district being ineligible for Title funding unless a letter is submitted to the OPI Deputy Superintendent by your school board chair and an extension is approved. Also, here are a few other items to remember:
- All districts are required to set aside at least $35 for homeless students even if they don’t currently have any homeless students. This is done in Targeting Step 4 of the Select Eligible Attendance Areas
- Contact Information for the Authorized Representative and Business Officer should be updated on the contact page before the application is submitted. This information can be updated on the OPI Contact Update link.
- Do not hit Back or Refresh when navigating the E-grants website. Use the navigation menu in the fine blueprint on the right-hand side of the page.
- Be sure to save each page as soon as you have completed it.
The OPI Federal Programs team is available to assist you if necessary. You can find our contact information on the Federal Programs website. We will also have a recording available on the website the week of September 3rd. Lastly, our staff will have office hours each Monday, Wednesday, and Friday from 8:00 to 10:00 a.m. You can reach us during those times using this Zoom Link
Best of luck for a great school year and please remember that our team is always here to assist you!
