Virtual IEFA Professional Development Opportunities. Earn TMT Professional Development units (formerly known as renewal units) on your own time and at your own pace! Build your background knowledge! Gain resources to use in your classroom! The IEFA Unit has sponsored numerous engaging high quality IEFA webinars so be sure to check out all the previously recorded sessions.
Webinars from this past year include content area specific presentations for the following areas: Art, CTE, ELA, FCS, Music, and Social Studies. Other webinar sessions focus on issues relating to boarding schools, Essential Understandings, ethnobotany, and tribal sovereignty. In addition, a tribal language webinar series is also available for best practices in teaching Native American languages.
IEFA Hub Courses are also available for ongoing asynchronous professional development to further your background knowledge.
