Community of Practice and Upcoming Events

The Montana Ready Team hosted the 2^nd Montana Ready Community of Practice on February 13^th - Career Exploration: Engaging Students AND Employers. A lot of great discussion and resources came out of this CoP and the previous CoP on Career Awareness: Utilizing Career Navigation Systems. Here are a few of the resources that the Regional Career Coaches have created and that CoP participants have contributed to:

MT Ready Career Weeks has ideas and inspiration for integrating career exploration throughout the school year.
Industry Connection Needs Survey is one way that schools can let the Regional Career Coaches know about the industry connects they want to make.
Career Exploration Resource Share a complication of resources, activities, and tools that School Counselors and other educators have utilized in working with students.

Upcoming Montana Ready Events:

March 12th: CoP Career Preparation: Work-based Learning, that’s working! RSVP
April 9th: CoP Career Launch: IRCs, Internships, Apprenticeships, and more!
May 14th: CoP Montana Ready: Creating a Framework for Work-Based Learning
May 16th: “Summer Ready” night for 5-12 grade students, parents of 5-12 graders, and educators
