Educator Licensure Fee Changes

Effective January 1, 2024 new licensure fees will take effect. The new licensure fees were set by the Montana Board of Public Education, per House Bill 403. See new fee schedule here.  On January 1st and 2nd, the TeachMT licensure system will be under system maintenance due to the new fee schedule.

2024 License Renewals

For any license that expires in 2024, an educator can submit a renewal application as early as January in TeachMT.  What do I need to know about renewing? Get more information regarding license renewals on our Renew License webpage.
