Classroom Book Sets and Publications Sent to Schools
In order to ensure that teachers and students have access to tribally specific, culturally authentic IEFA texts, the OPI IEFA Unit has purchased classroom sets of almost 20 books by tribal authors. These can be checked out for up to three months at a time. There are also individual books that can be used with a companion lesson plan as well. To find out more, go to the General Information page on the OPI IEFA website.
The IEFA unit has also sent numerous resources to school libraries over the years for teacher use in the classroom. These can also be found on the General Information page as well.
If you have teachers looking for resources, they should check out these two pages on our website to see what resources are available to them.
