Quality Educator Payment
December 1st marks the deadline for receiving the Quality Educator Payment (QEP) for districts. All applications that were submitted before the first have been evaluated.
Please have your teachers check daily on the status of their application and if there is a deficiency. *Remember-- as an Authorized Representative, you have access to check on the status of every application for your district through TeachMT.
2024 License Renewals
For any license that expires in 2024, an educator can submit a renewal application as early as January 1, 2024, on TeachMT.

Pathways to Adding an Endorsement
Remember there are three pathways to adding an endorsement to a current Class 1 or 2 Montana teaching license.
Educator Preparation Program and Praxis exam.
Undergraduate or graduate degree posted major or minor or National Board Certification.
2 years of teaching experience (in any area) and Praxis exam.
