EANS (Emergency Assistance to Non-Public Schools)
-
Looking Ahead Dates:
EANS II close out focus May– July 2024.
This relief funding is designated to provide services and assistance to eligible non-public schools to address educational disruptions caused by COVID-19. In Montana, Non-Public Schools include homeschool families and private schools. OPI retained FACTS Solutions (EANSfunds@factsmgt.com) to assist in managing the EANS Grant procurement process. Wendi Fawns, EANS Director (406-437-8595) with OPI, homeschooled her children part-time in partnership with Bitterroot Valley public schools and can assist with overall questions. Allison Agostino (406 202 7685) can assist in gaining $30-$75 per month of internet assistance if families qualify.
OPI is committed to providing a System of Support including webinar training, open office hours, and expert staff available to help awardees process their requests within federal granting guidelines. Many resources on the OPI site such as Dyslexia, the Montana Content Standards, MTDA, Dual Enrollment, and EdReady are available to Nonpublic school students.
Nonpublic schools (homeschool and private) with questions on education resources available throughout the state may reach out to Wendi Fawns at wendi.fawns@mt.gov
