SEPTEMBER 2023 AIM UPDATES
AIM Data Collections - 2023-24 School Year
The first data collection for the 2023-24 school year, School Calendars, will be completed by data certification, and the window is open from August 28th - September 15th. Districts should ensure that the calendars are set for the fiscal year (July 1, 2023-June 30, 2024), that separate calendars are set for differing schedules within school, extracurricular activities, or offsite/alternative schools, terms are set to the lowest common denominator (quarters, trimesters), period schedules are set for all the days in a school (regular day, early release), and days are mapped for instruction, PIR (in-service), holidays, and/or parent-teacher conferences.
The Graduate, Dropout, and Cohort collection will be opening at the end of September. The Fall Enrollment collection date is October 4, 2023. Districts should work on resolving duplicates, overlapping enrollments and fall no-shows during the month of September to ensure accurate data reporting for the fall count date. Data reporting tools are available both under Ad Hoc Reporting and Data Validation (Data Integrity Tools>Data Validation Groups/Reports) to assist with cleanup.
The full 2023-24 AIM Data Collection calendar will be published soon!! Watch the AIM page for updates.
