Gifted and Talented State Grant is now OPEN in E-grants with applications due September 15, 2023.
Schools must complete the following in order to receive funding for the grant:

The Intent to Apply -These were due May 1, 2023. ONLY Districts who submitted the Intent to Apply were included in the allocation formula for 2023-2025 based on legislative funding. The 68th Legislature funded Gifted and Talented for the 2023-2025 biennium with $700,000 in total, with $350,000 available for each school year. Districts receive one grant award to supplement their G/T programs with funds available from July 1, 2023 to June 30, 2025.

Gifted and Talented State Grant Application- Submitted through E-Grants for districts who completed the Intent to Apply by the deadline. These are due September 15, 2023.

Program Report- Will be available in E-grants in late August/early September 2023 for the 2021-2023 grant cycle. The deadline for this report is TBD, but will be shared in the Compass and E-grants.
The Gifted and Talented State Grant program provides grant funds for supplemental financial assistance to school districts to strengthen the quality of programs for gifted and talented students. Schools and families can learn more on our Gifted, Talented, and Advanced Placement OPI Webpage.
Did you know the Montana Digital Academy offers a variety of High School AP® course titles, in all content areas, to give Montana students the chance to tackle college-level work while they are still in high school. Whether you are in Sidney or Superior, or any town in between, MTDA is here to help you reach your educational goals.
High School AP® courses are college-level courses offered in high school. Courses are equivalent to what is taught in introductory college courses. Students who earn a qualifying score on the College Board AP® Exam are eligible to receive college credit and/or earn placement into advanced courses in college.

MTDA DUAL CREDIT
Montana Digital Academy offers a variety of High School Dual Credit courses through partnerships with Helena, Missoula, and Gallatin College. This means you can earn college and high school credit through the same course.
All MTDA Dual Credit courses qualify for the state's One-Two-Free program. One-Two-Free offers two tuition-free dual enrollment courses, up to six credits.
