Internships & Emergency Authorizations for Employment (EAE) applications will be reviewed beginning July 31, 2023.
This gives the school districts enough time to receive applications from licensed educators for any open positions before applying for an EAE.
Don't worry that it is getting close to the start of the school year - our licensing system, TeachMT, has helped the licensure team go from being 8 weeks out on evaluations to being approximately 2 weeks out on evaluating complete and submitted applications.
Check your application status by the Submitted date - follow our Evaluation Schedule on our website homepage.
Class 5 Provisional Licenses that expire on 06/30/2023 must submit an Upgrade application by August 31, 2023 to have no lapse in license status.
See our Upgrading a License webpage for more information.
If your license expires 06/30/2023 your professional development (PD) must be completed by August 31, 2023 to have no lapse in your license status.
