Legislative Update
Transformational Learning Grant (SB 8) and Montana Advanced Opportunity Grant (HB 257) are in their final legislative stages and will be sent to the Governor for signing. Once this occurs, you'll be notified with the impact for your districts from the changes to both these bills during the 2023 legislative session.

Ways to Transform Learning
As your district begins to take a deeper look into the Montana Advanced Opportunity and/or Transformational Learning grants, here are some ideas for transforming and personalizing learning for all students.
- use adaptive technology
- build personalized learning plans for students based on their interests, passions, strengths, needs, and culture
- develop flexible learning pathways where students drive their journey
- student-created project-based learning, increasing rigor and relevance
- peer learning that includes collaboration, problem-solving, creativity, and critical thinking
