 On Tuesday the Superintendent celebrated our Unified Champion Schools and Special Olympics. A big shout-out to Taryn from East Helena for sharing her experiences in basketball and bowling. Unified Champion Schools bring students of all abilities together through sports to create healthy school environments.

New Role:
Becky Belling has accepted a new position in Centralized Services Division as a Budget Analyst. Ms. Belling began working at OPI in November 2020 . Becky was raised here in beautiful Montana. She graduated with her Bachelors from the Montana Tech in December 2013. She brings nine years of accounting/budgeting experience working for the State of Montana. She loves learning, bringing positivity to those around her, and working to help provide education to students in Montana. Outside of work Becky loves and dedicates her time to her fiancé and 2 children. She enjoys running, being outdoors, photography, and spending time with family.

Congratulations!
 This week Brian O'Leary, Director of Communications, had a gender reveal for his baby boy! His name will be Alexander Sarsfield and his expected due date is in August. Congratulations!!
Student Visitors:
 It is always a pleasure to meet with students who are visiting our Capitol to see government in action. Today I welcomed the Hysham Rebels senior class to the OPI. We had a great conversation on family, current legislation, and our public schools.
