AIM Data Collections
The AIM Data Collection Schedule contains a complete list of all AIM data collections occurring throughout the year. The following AIM Data Collections are taking place during the months of January and February:
Spring Enrollment Count – 2/7/23-2/14/23
- Enter or calculate Aggregate Hours and Count Date Absences for all students enrolled on 2/6/2023.
- Verify enrollment and demographic data for all students, including students enrolled in special programs (Job Corps, MT Youth ChalleNGe, Montana Digital Academy, early graduates, and 19/20 Eligible for ANB).
- Enter Diploma Date, Diploma Type, and Diploma Period for early graduates.
- I***NEW: Districts will be required to certify their Spring Enrollment Count in MAEFAIRS before importing to MAEFAIRS. This is a system test before the full transition to Data Certification in the Fall.

Alternate Assessment Test Registration Collection - 12/1/22-4/28/23
- Enter and verify demographic and enrollment data for students with significant cognitive disabilities enrolled on 11/30/2022.
- Verify Statewide Assessment section of the locked IEP is marked appropriately to register students needing the Alternative Assessment.
- Enter and verify demographic and enrollment data.
ACT with Writing Test Registration - 12/1/22-5/4/23
- Enter and verify demographic and enrollment data for students in grade 11.
- The OPI will upload student data to the Pearson Access Next (PANext) online test delivery system.
Montana Science, Math, and English Language Arts Test Registration - 1/1/23-5/26/23
- Enter and verify demographic and enrollment data for students in grades 5-8.
- Maintain student data during this collection period.
- The OPI will upload student data to the TIDE online test delivery system.

AIM Student Photos Needed
Please remember to collect the Student Photo Opt-In information from parents as register their students. Then please follow up with importing students’ photos into Infinite Campus, so the photos in AIM with the Opt-in value can be used by the Department of Justice to help find missing children. See our AIM District Student Photo Repository user guide for additional information.
Updating AIM Contact Information
Please ensure to submit the AIM Contacts Update Form on the OPI AIM website whenever there is a change in AIM staff or AIM contact info at your district or school.
