2023 License Renewals

For any license that expires in 2023, you can submit your renewal application as early as January 1, 2023 on TeachMT.

Don’t wait until the last minute to renew your license. During the summer months our staff is the busiest and it could take much longer to process your renewal application.

Pathways to Adding an Endorsement

There are currently three pathways to adding an endorsement to a current Class 1 or 2 Montana teaching license.

Educator Preparation Program and Praxis exam.
Undergraduate or graduate degree posted major or minor or National Board Certification.
2 years of teaching experience (in any area) and Praxis exam.
