2023 Montana Youth Risk Behavior Survey
Coordinating the 2023 YRBS is underway at the Office of Public Instruction. The registration packets will be mailed soon to district superintendents for this biennial survey administered by the OPI through a cooperative agreement with the CDC. It is the only school-based survey where students confidentially self-report unintentional injuries and violence (including suicide ideation and mental health status), tobacco use (including electronic vapor products), alcohol and other drug use, sexual behaviors, nutrition and dietary behaviors, and physical inactivity. If you did not receive a registration packet, need a registration form, or have questions about the 2023 YRBS, don't hesitate to contact our YRBS coordinator Genie Zeeck at Genie.Zeeck@mt.gov or 406-444-3178. To view your school-specific results from past years' YRBS, visit the Montana YRBS website.
