FY2024 Application Window opens Monday, December 5th at 8am
- This window opens for both grants (Transformational Learning & MT Advanced Opportunities).
- FY2023 annual report window also opens at this time.
$700,000+ Available in MT Advanced Opportunity Funding
- Intended to reduce parent out-of-pocket costs and personalized/enhance CTAE opportunities for the purpose of providing successful post-secondary pathways.
- Examples of grant uses include: dual-enrollment costs, ACT/SAT exam fees, work-based learning opportunities, certification/credentialing costs, experiential learning, international baccalaureate program, etc.
- Grantees are funded on a first-come, first-served basis.
- Funding is permanent and allocated annually based on the prior year's total equality-educator payment:
- 3% for elementary, 8.5% for K-12, 20% for high school districts
- Transformational Learning Grant (applying districts must have a board-approved definition of proficiency that does not require seat time)
- Montana Advanced Opportunity Grant
