Teacher Learning Hub News
4th of July Sparklers to Light Up Your PD!
You no doubt already have that feeling that the summer is just FLYING by, and before you even have a chance to blink, you will be prepping for another school year! Gather some ‘sparkle’ with these great facilitated courses while you have some time this summer and then jump into the fall school year ablaze with new ideas for your learners! (Enrollment is open now unless otherwise stated! RUs with run dates follow each course title).
#2 - S’More Great Courses for Summer!
What goes better with the sultry, kicked-back days of summer, than self-paced courses from the Hub?! Gather new ideas and renewal units at your own pace as your schedule allows! (No deadlines!)
Celebrating ‘Firecracker’ Teachers!
We are humbled to have a variety of gifted educators as facilitators for the many courses available on the Teacher Learning Hub, but we want to take a moment to recognize Bill Stockton, 2022 Montana Teacher of the Year, from Arlee, MT, and Chris Pavlovich, recipient of the Presidential Award for Excellence in Mathematics and Science Teaching, from Livingston, MT, who were both also recently recognized by NASA for the work they have done for NASA's Northwest Earth and Space Sciences Pathway (NESSP) program. We are so fortunate to have these two dynamic educators as facilitators in our Science content area on the Teacher Learning Hub! We hope you get to benefit from enrolling in one of their fine courses if you haven’t already had the opportunity to do so!
Helpful Hub Tip of the Month: The Teacher Learning Hub will soon be linking with Licensure!
Please be on the lookout for a pop-up that will be appearing soon on the Hub Homepage requiring you to add your SEID number to your Hub account if you are already a licensed educator. If you are not licensed, there will be an alternative code to place in the textbox. We will keep you up-to-date on the Hub homepage as soon as we know the final details! RANDA and OPEN LMS, our computer folks, are hard at work getting it all figured out and there is nothing you need to do until then….just stay tuned. We just wanted to give all of you a proactive heads-up to be aware of this wonderful new change that is coming your way soon!
