NEW LICENSURE SYSTEM UPDATE

TEACH MT (TMT) will be replacing the current Montana State Educator Information System (MSEIS). MSEIS's last day is May 6, 2022-anything submitted after that will be held until the new system is active. TMT will be live on June 1, 2022! Tutorials will be available for educators along with an updated licensure webpage. Previews and training for districts and Montana universities will take place prior to the launch date.

ADMINISTRATIVE RULES UPDATE

The Administrative Rules for Licensure-- Chapter 57-- will be adopted by the Board of Public Education on May 13, 2022. The rules will be effective starting May 27, 2022. This means that the current rule still applies at this time.

Please consider waiting to apply for a license once the new rules go into effect if one of the proposed changes could impact your application process.
