Social Emotional Learning & MTSS Webinar with Michele Henson
April 21, 2022 @ 4:00-5:00 pm
This community of practice will focus on social emotional learning (SEL) within the context of a multi-tiered system of supports (MTSS). The presentation will open with some quick, introductory information about what SEL is and the benefits of implementing SEL in the school setting. We will cover the Montana SEL conceptual framework and how to implement SEL through the MTSS framework. We will conclude the presentation with examples of universal (Tier 1) SEL approaches that can be implemented into any Montana school and classroom and also highlight SEL practices that many Montana educators are already implementing.
