New Teacher Training (NTT)
The Montana Office of Public Instruction (OPI) will be conducting semi self-training sessions available to all special educators, providing an overview of each special education document and the procedures for completing the forms in the Infinite Campus, Achievement in Montana (AIM) system. Participants will have the opportunity to receive hands-on experience in completing documents and navigating the AIM system. The focus will be on instructing beginning educators so they can be knowledgeable about the compliance requirements and gain confidence in using the AIM system for documentation. Courses are scheduled to run from March 28-May 20. Contact Alicia Herman if interested.
The Special Education Community of Practice will be held the first Thursday of the Month from 3:30-4:30. There will be a short presentation on a topic followed by a discussion around that topic. The purpose of these meetings is to provide technical assistance and support for Special Education teachers as well as help build a network for teachers throughout Montana.
