Provisional Teachers - This is For You! - Don’t Miss Out!
Are you, or someone you know:
- Teaching under emergency authorization or on a provisional license?
- Assigned outside your grade level or subject area?
- A beginning teacher in a rural school?
Over 150 master teachers across the state have stepped up to help support Montana’s underprepared teachers and improve retention! They’ve joined the MentorMT initiative to provide FREE assistance. Here’s what’s in it for YOU:
- One-to-one mentoring that addresses teachers’ needs and respects their time
- Experienced mentors assigned by similar grade level and subject area
- Non-evaluative support for content, curriculum, and instruction
-
No cost to schools and a $500 annual stipend for participating teachers
Apply today with the MentorMT Teacher Enrollment Application!
We have enrolled nearly 50 new teachers and still have room for more! All grade levels and subject areas are eligible. Teachers working in rural schools will receive priority consideration.

There are a number of other March courses that were advertised previously in the February Compass. Enrollment for those courses began February 13th, and you may still enroll! Lucky You! Four Leaf Courses at Your Service!
If Leprechauns could award ratings to Hub courses, they would surely give these courses ‘four-leaf’ ratings! Not only are they great courses, but they are self-paced and ready when you are!
Spring Forward and Finish Strong!
In just a few short months you will say goodbye to your students for the summer once again. This portion of the school year flies by so quickly and will play a lasting role in their memories of you, your classroom, and their general school experience. As students leave your classroom or school at year’s end, how will you be remembered by each little soul that was entrusted to you? We hope you finish strong, with positive memories that last them a lifetime as reflected in this free verse poem by Joanna Fuchs.
I'll Remember You Always
Rarely does someone
get to influence a person's life
in a positive way
for a lifetime,
as a teacher can,
fostering optimism and confidence
providing knowledge that leads to success,
and being a good role model,
as you have,
and you are,
and you will...
forever.
I'll remember you always.
Thank you.
