Soon, all Montana educators will be heading back to the classroom and greeting the bright, shiny faces of their students! We hope this finds you ready to ‘light a fire’ for learning, not merely fill a bucket with knowledge. To spark you on your journey---we have an abundance of terrific facilitated courses on tap for September delivery! Registration opens August 22, and as always, enrollment is limited---- so mark your choices and your calendar and get fired up about these great professional learning opportunities!
*The courses above that are marked with an asterisk may just be wrapping up or not yet complete from a June or July run and will not be reset until the current run is completed. When you click to seek information about them, the dates you will see may reflect the dates of the course currently in session. All will be updated to reflect the dates listed above prior to enrollment opening on August 22nd!
Key pieces of summer fun are time with friends and family, summer potlucks, and the variety of yummy goodies that are shared over wonderful conversations and the making of great memories! Variety is the spice of life and of learning! With that in mind, we’d like to share a variety of self-paced options to assist you in being the kind of teacher that your students will always remember as “the best teacher ever!!”
Enjoy a bit of INSPIRATION for all educators AND Students as we embark on a new school year and hope that everyone comes in each day ready and willing to give Your Best! (by Barbara Vance)
If you always try your best, then you’ll never have to wonder;
About what you could have done, if you’d summoned all your thunder.
And if your best was not as good as you had hoped it would be;
You still could say, “I gave today, all that I had in me!”
Helpful Hub Tip of the Month: When having to submit a short, long, or any type of essay as an assignment in a Hub course, type it as a Word or Google Doc first, and then copy and paste it into the course submission box! By doing so, you can be sure that the ‘online text box’ never ‘times out’ and your hard work is never lost. This also ensures that your document is saved on your computer and you have a record of your work. Should you ever have to resubmit an assignment for some reason you can head to your saved file for editing! Voila`!
A BIG Shout-out to all of our Montana Firefighters! Stay safe!
