We hope you all are fired up for summer and also ready to take advantage of some great facilitated courses that will not only recharge your enthusiasm and knowledge base but will also provide you with some awesome multi-credit renewal unit opportunities!
There are no facilitated courses being offered in August, as we know all of you are busy enjoying the final weeks of summer, gearing up for ‘back-to-school,’ and actually heading back to your school buildings and the bright and shining faces of your students---with everyone eager to return to a ‘normal’ year of school as it used to be! There will be nine facilitated courses that will run in September and enrollment for those courses will start on August 22nd! There will be more information on those in our August newsletter, but feel free to get a jumpstart by taking a peek and see what you may be interested in taking!
We wanted to take a moment to give a huge ‘shout-out’ to every educator in Montana who is utilizing the Teacher Learning Hub for their professional development! We take great pride in the development of high-quality courses to provide you with the latest in cutting-edge concepts in education, and we so appreciate everyone who takes the time to respond so thoughtfully to the forums and assignments sprinkled throughout these courses. Your responses are our best measure for maintaining the integrity of these free course offerings, and we thank all of you who strive to create responses that aspire to professional level standards and our Hub Terms of Use. We value your diligence and your commitment to professional learning and thank you for your great support! As a result, we now have a record number of educators, 20,134, utilizing the 130+ courses on the Teacher Learning Hub, and those numbers are growing daily! (Fun Fact: Did you know the Hub started just five short years ago with four courses and a handful of users?)
Helpful Hub Tip of the Month: Download your renewal unit completion certificate immediately after completing a Hub course. We recommend that you keep them in a file on your computer AND print a hard copy as well (you never know when your computer may glitch) to keep in a personal file folder with all of your other RU certificates so they are always at your fingertips when you need them.
