The Office of Public Instruction Indian Education for All Unit is offering another six-week webinar of Unpacking the Essential Understandings Regarding Montana Indians, starting on February 3 and going through May 5. We are also offering a six-week Essential Understandings Deeper Dive Workshop starting February 10 and going through May 12. For Elementary Educators:
Code.org’s CS Fundamentals training for Montana K-5 educators. These two-night, six-hour, six-renewal-unit trainings cover the basics of Code.org's K-5 CS Fundamentals curriculum hosted by AVID.

- Not able to attend the session times above? Montana educators can attend any of the Washington or Oregon virtual trainings and receive Montana renewal units for attending, as MT is a partner of AVID. Summer 2021 CS Courses: UM, SKC, Montana Tech and MSU have partnered again this summer to offer four Computer Science courses to High School Educators. A stipend is awarded for attending. Some of the PD may be offered online, and if offered in person, travel expenses will be covered. Check out their flyer to learn more! Register by March 1, 2021.

2021 High School Business Plan & Pitch Competition:
The Prospects is a virtual statewide entrepreneurship competition run by the Montana Chamber of Commerce with scholarships, cash and technology prizes for high school students with new ideas and existing small businesses. All entrants will have opportunities for mentoring and internships, apprenticeships and work-based learning. They will be accepting submissions until midnight on Friday, February 12, 2021. Museum of The Rockies Photo Prompt Writing Contest:
Looking for something fun this winter that doesn't require going outside in the snow and cold? Check out the Montana Memory Project photo prompt writing contest!
The Montana Memory Project has partnered with the Museum of the Rockies and Distinctly Montana Magazine to offer fun prizes for different age groups: museum passes, gift certificates, magazine subscriptions and more! They will be accepting submissions until Friday, February 12, 2021.
