Montana State University's Academic Technology and Outreach is hosting an Advanced Online Teaching course starting Monday, October 5, 2020. The course offers a practitioner's look at the art of online learning using many of the current pedagogical practices. Montana PBS is beginning its Learn at Home programming starting Tuesday, September 8, 2020. Resources and curriculum for all grade levels are available on the Distance Learning at Home webpage. The Montana PBS Learning Media website has additional resources for educators as well.
Inspired Classroom and the Montana World Affairs Council are hosting a GeoQuest challenge for students in grade 4 to 8. The challenge starts Monday, September 14, 2020, and completed at any point in the year. This year's GeoQuest will be focusing on the Geography, History, Culture, and Current Events based on the UN's Sustainable Development Goals. Students will study the countries of Chile, Egypt, Ireland, and South Korea. Registration is open to join the challenge.
