Invasive Species Managers,
Alerts on Invasive Species
The following alerts on invasive species data centralized at the Montana Natural Heritage Program (MTNHP) have been created and will now be emailed to county weed managers.

- A summary of weed and other non-native plant observations for species that are not documented in your county, but that have been documented within 20 miles of your county boundary. This alert will be run quarterly.
- A summary of new weed and other non-native plant observations in your county. This report will be run quarterly.
*email alerts will only be sent if records in the MTNHP data system match the required criteria.
Viewing Data in Alerts
Weed managers can view details on weed and other non-native observation data summarized in these alerts using the MTNHP's Map Viewer web application. If you don't already have agency-level access, just click on the Sign In link at the upper right of the task selection menu, then click the Create Account button, then enter a user profile with your agency email taking note of the 11 character limit for username. We will then see that you have created an account and within a day or two will give you agency-level access and send you introductory materials.
