Montana Certified 9-1-1 PSAPs,

The Montana Department of Justice, Montana Emergency Communications Program, is pleased to announce that the application period for the 2026 9-1-1 Annual Grant is now open. This grant program is designed to provide critical funding to help PSAPs and local jurisdictions enhance emergency communications capabilities, improve interoperability, and continue the transition to a Next Generation 9-1-1 (NG9-1-1) system. Due to limited funding, each PSAP is asked to submit a single grant application.

Attached is the SFY2026 Notification of Funding Availability and grant application form. Grant applications must be received by the department by 5:00 PM Wednesday November 26th, 2025. Applications received after the deadline will not be considered.
