Montana State Library Commission to Meet
(HELENA)--- The Montana State Library (MSL) Commission will meet via Zoom for a work session on Wednesday, November 12, 2025 at 9:00 a.m. The public is invited to attend. For an agenda and information about how to join the online meeting, visit:

Commissioners include Vice-Chair, Tom Burnett of Bozeman, Carmen Cuthbertson of Kalispell, Tammy Hall of Bozeman, Designee of the Superintendent of Public Instruction, McKenna Gregg of Townsend, Commissioner of Higher Education Appointee, Kris Goss of Helena, Chair, Robyn Scribner of Geraldine, and Peggy Taylor of Whitefish.
During the work session the Commission will respond to public comments received regarding proposed administrative rule amendments to Administrative Rule 10.102.1159 pertaining to the required open hours standard for Montana public libraries and amendments to Administrative Rule 10.102.1160 pertaining to the Montana State Library continuing education and certification program.
The Commission is accepting written public comments on this rulemaking until November 7, 2025 at 5:00 p.m. Comments may be emailed to Victoria Gersdorf at vgersdorf@mt.gov. Public comments will be requested on Zoom at the meeting.
