2024 Excellent Library Service Award (ELSA)
The Montana State Library Commission awarded 25 public libraries in the state with the 2024 Excellent Library Service Award at their meeting on April 17, 2024.
Libraries receiving the ELSA have demonstrated their commitment to excellence through programs, services, and partnerships that are data-informed and that align with community needs and goals
Whereas the Montana State Library Commission recognizes the passion, dedication, and perseverance library directors, staff, and board members engage in every day;
Whereas the State Library Commission wishes to recognize libraries who have shown their commitment to the community through improving their services and infrastructure;
Whereas the Montana State Library Commission would like to acknowledge and celebrate the efforts of libraries in Montana to achieve excellence;
Therefore, be it resolved that the Montana State Library Commission confers the Excellent Library Services Award on the following libraries:
