We are excited to announce that our 2024 Montana Meme Contest launches next week, on May 1, with all entries due by May 15. This is one of our most popular programs, and we can't wait to see this year's entries!
We hope you will consider entering. Participation is easy. All you need to do is find a photo from the Montana History Portal (we have over 43,000 photos to choose from linked here), convert it into a clever meme, and submit it to us. We have links on the Montana Meme Contest Page for submission, as well as all contest rules.
Once the contest has closed, we will be posting all entries on the website. We will open an online voting process which will run from May 17 to May 22. We encourage you to browse all the entries, vote for your favorite, and share your favorite with others to get them to vote as well.
If you want to take a look at last year's entries, you can see those in the 2023 Montana Meme Contest album. We look forward to another creative year of memes!
