MSC App (BCMobile) Update
SirsiDynix and the BCMobile app provider have been in discussions and recently reached a resolution. As of this morning, access to the BCMobile app has been restored for the MSC and should be operational on any devices where it is still installed. The MSC team has tested the app and it all appears to be in working order. We are beginning the process to re-list the app in the various app stores to make it available to patrons again. Our recommendation is that you not publicize it to patrons until it’s available to download and we’ll let you know as soon as we hear back from the app stores.
SirsiDynix is also developing an in-house replacement app they’ve named BCMobile2 that is slated to eventually replace BCMobile. The MSC is in the pilot group and we hope to have access for testing in the next few months. SirsiDynix has indicated that the upgrade to the new app should be seamless for patrons when it’s available. We are getting more details from them about BCMobile2, how that might affect our contract and costs, and the timeline for release, so we will keep you updated as we learn more.
Workflows Maintenance on March 5th at 2:00 AM
SirsiDynix will be performing system maintenance that will affect Workflows on Tuesday, March 5th at 2:00 am for approximately 1 hour. Workflows will be unavailable during this time.
MSC Office Hours - Tuesday, March 5th
Join us Tuesday, 3/5 at either 10 am or 2 pm for MSC Office Hours. We will be available the whole hour to troubleshoot specific issues, help brainstorm how to get a new a project started, or answer any questions you may have! Drop in for a few minutes or stay for the whole time.

Enterprise Upgrade to 5.2.1.3 scheduled for March 13th at 8:00 pm
SirsiDynix will be upgrading Enterprise to version 5.2.1.3 on Wednesday, 3/13 at 8:00 pm MDT.
Enterprise will be unavailable for approximately 3 hours. MSC Admins will post a notice on Enterprise informing patrons before the upgrade.
Did You Know?
The User Search helper can be set to open automatically when using the Checkout or Display User wizards. This can be helpful if you usually look up patrons by name rather than by scanning a user barcode. If you'd like more information about this feature, please open a help desk ticket.
