Montana History Portal Highlights

We have over 200 collections available online on the Montana History Portal (full list here) and today we'd like to spotlight one of the unique and interesting document collections. The Central Montana Historical Documents collection has over 400 articles, books, pamphlets, and primary source documents from the collections of Lewistown Public Library. The scope of the collection is astounding: from 1880s treasurer reports of the Territory of Montana, to central Montana birth records covering most of the 20th century, to a short history of Lewistown, In particular, this collection is a one-of-a-kind repository of short articles on the people, places, and events of Central Montana throughout the years. There truly is something for everyone in this collection!
