The Montana History Portal provides weekly updates on new content as well as tips on how to successfully navigate the site through this Highlights newsletter. You can find back issues on the "Highlights" newsletter section of our website.
Library and museum staff members are encouraged to share these with patrons by linking our content and programs on your website and sharing through social media.

We are very happy to announce the winners of the 2023 Montana Meme-ory Contest. We had over 200 entries this year, and hundreds of votes were cast in a very competitive selection process. We want to congratulate the 1st and 2nd place winners in the following age groups:
10-18 Age Group
1st: Tylar Smith
2nd: Isaiah Dietz
19-40 Age Group
1st: Xerxes M. Budomo
2nd: Chantz Thilmony
41-120 Age Group
1st: Jackie Heinert
2nd: Brent Baldwin
Winners will be receiving great prizes! This includes a mix of items from our partners Montana Historical Society and Montana Outdoors Magazine, as well as a selection of tasty gift cards for our younger winners. We want to thank everyone who entered, this was one of our best years ever for the contest, with a huge selection of funny and creative entries. We look forward to seeing what you all come up with next year!
