
The MSDI Administrative Boundaries Framework data layers have recently been updated.
The following data layers have been added:
- The newly adopted Montana Legislative Districts: House and Senate (2024-2032)
- Election Districts including Precinct Splits
All data layers are available statewide and by county in the file geodatabase and shapefile formats.

New! The MSDI Administrative Boundary Incorporated Cities & Towns and County Boundaries have recently been updated in the Esri Vector Basemaps

US Census Bureau – Boundary and Annexation Survey (BAS) Program
Reminder: If you haven’t already done so, please submit your updates to the US Census Bureau. The deadline to submit changes to the Boundary and Annexation Survey (BAS) is May 31, 2023. As of 2022, communities can also submit Census Designated Places updates through BAS.For more information on how to responds to BAS visit: https://www.census.gov/programs-surveys/bas.html
