Network Advisory Council to Meet in Helena and Online
(HELENA)--- Members of the Network Advisory Council will meet at the State Library on Wednesday, April 6, 2022 from 9:30 a.m. to 2:30 p.m. The meeting will also take place on Zoom. The Council will consider the minutes from the previous meeting, WhoFi recommendation from the Public Library Statistics Task Force, the FY23 budget for library development, and EPP priorities recommendations for the State Library Commission for FY2023-2025. They will discuss the Library Services & Technology Act new plan and will receive updates and reports about the transition plan for the Committees, single cost-share formula subcommittee, Core Services Committees, NAC nominating committee, State Library, and impact reports.
The Network Advisory Council represents the interests of all types of Montana libraries and maintains the perspective of statewide geographical balance as it explores ways to help libraries; assesses community needs; identifies innovation opportunities; reviews and evaluates the feasibility, design, and outcomes of statewide library projects; assists with statewide planning and advises the State Librarian and the State Library Commission.
