Montana Health Center Appointments and Off-site State-sponsored Health Screening Events

Dear State Plan Member,

You may now visit a Montana Health Center for all services including State-sponsored health screenings. Face-to-face appointments are currently limited due to CDC guidelines, but many services are still available via telephone.

The off-site State-sponsored health screening schedule will resume in June with events in Kalispell, Shelby, and Havre (these are the last events of the year in Shelby and Havre).  Due to the off-site State-sponsored health screening appointment cancellations over the past months, the schedule is being modified month-by-month, but you can access the latest version HERE.

June Off-site State-sponsored Health Screenings:

For face-to-face appointments and health screenings (including off-site events)

  • All patients coming to the health center or to an off-site health screening event will be asked COVID screening questions and have their temperature taken.  If the COVID screening is positive and/or the temperature reading is 100 degrees Fahrenheit or greater, the appointment must be rescheduled, or if possible, completed over the telephone.
  • Patients must bring their own face mask and wear it for face-to-face interactions including off-site State-sponsored health screening events. Due to personal protective equipment (PPE) shortages, this is crucial. If you cannot gain access to a face mask, please let the health center know prior to arriving for your appointment.
  • Only patients will be allowed to enter the health center or off-site screening events - family members or other guests will not be permitted if not necessary.
  • Waiting rooms are limited to 2-3 patients at one time. If more than 3 patients are waiting to be seen, excess patients will be requested to wait in their vehicle until their turn.  Once inside the health center or off-site screening event, please remember to maintain at least 6 feet of distance from others if possible.

Thank you for your understanding and flexibility during this time.
