The Montana Asthma Control Program (MACP) is pleased to announce that the 2025 Big Sky Pulmonary Conference will be held March 6-March 7, 2025, at the Fairmont Hot Springs Resort. The Big Sky Pulmonary Conference is a continuing education conference for health professionals, which highlights promising methods of preventing and managing respiratory disease and associated risk factors according to evidence-based guidelines. Sessions will be presented by physicians and other health professionals including experts in bariatrics, sleep medicine, genetics, adult pulmonary care, allergy, immunology, and public health practice. The 2025 conference will feature topics such as mindfulness and breathing techniques, clinical genetics and lung disease, bariatrics and pulmonary considerations, pulmonary auscultation, cannabis and respiratory health, pulmonary impacts of vaping, asthma in the elderly, the continued impacts of long covid, and more. The MACP acknowledges that improved patient care is more likely when the whole care team receives education and buys into quality improvement. We encourage providers and their staff to attend the Big Sky Pulmonary Conference together. Upon registration, MDs, DOs, NPs and PAs will receive 1 free registration for any office staff also interested in attending the conference. Please contact Amy Saltzman directly to assist with this.
