New SUDORS Dashboard!
The State Unintentional Drug Overdose Reporting System (SUDORS) dashboard presents detailed data on unintentional drug overdose deaths, including sections on demographics, drug type, overdose event details, and other context. This information can be used by public health partners when planning interventions to reduce unintentional drug overdose deaths in Montana.
- For example, nearly four in five unintentional drug overdose deaths occurred at a home or residence, suggesting a potential need to distribute naloxone (an opioid overdose reversal drug) to substance users and their peers. Hence, it is available in the event of an opioid overdose.
