Staying Active in Wintertime

  • Research shows the benefits of exercise and physical activity go beyond just physical well-being and can help improve your mood. However, Montana winters can present a barrier to getting active.
  • Although wintertime can make it more challenging, there are many ways to exercise safely in cold weather. You can also transition to indoor workouts such as strength training, stationary endurance activities, or fitness classes.
  • Stay safe and have fun enjoying the many outdoor winter activities Montana has to offer!
