Holiday-Caused Allergies

  • 1 in 4 adults and nearly 1 in 5 children have a seasonal allergy. Holiday-caused allergies can arise from various festive elements, impacting your ability to enjoy the celebrations.
  • Christmas tree syndrome is an allergic reaction to real or artificial trees and can cause wheezing, sneezing, coughs, sore eyes, and even potentially serious asthma attacks. People with asthma or COPD may be at higher risk of experiencing Christmas tree syndrome.
  • Dealing with allergies during the holidays can be a nuisance, by considering the science and taking precautions, you can ensure an enjoyable and allergen-free festive season.
