Cancer Treatment Resources for Montanans

  • Cancer survivors include all people ever diagnosed with cancer from the time of their diagnosis through the end of their life; improving quality of life during and after cancer treatment can help Montana cancer patients and their caregivers.
  • The Montana Cancer Control Programs and the Montana Cancer Coalition compiled two interactive maps to support Montanans affected by cancer in finding available resources for counseling, support groups, financial counseling and retreats for cancer patients, caregivers, and family members. The maps feature information for 214 distinct services from 57 separate providers.
  • Montanans at all stages of life can lower their cancer risk through healthy choices like avoiding tobacco, protecting skin from the sun, limiting alcohol, and keeping a healthy weight.
