The next Lifestyle Coach Workshop is this October!
The workshop will be held in Butte at the Copper King Hotel and Convention Center on Wednesday, October 19th prior to the Diabetes Professional Conference.

For those of you who are traveling, there are rooms available at the Copper King Hotel and Convention Center (4655 Harrison Ave, Butte, MT 59701) under the room block “Diabetes Conference.” You can reserve your room by calling 406-565-5001. All rooms must be reserved by Tuesday, September 20th.
The 25th Annual Montana Diabetes Professional Conference is coming up!
The conference will be held Thursday & Friday, October 20-21, 2022.
The 2022 conference features presentations focused on technology, building resiliency, navigating diabetes in the healthcare system, quality improvement, medication and affordability, prediabetes, diabetes management and the value of these services.

As part of the conference, the Montana Diabetes Program is creating an annual awards program to recognize healthcare professionals of all levels across the state who are working in the area of diabetes care and education and diabetes prevention. These awards will showcase healthcare professionals and/or organizations who are supporting positive change and making an impact to their communities and patients who are at risk for or living with diabetes.

Park County Health Department is a new National DPP site!
We are excited to welcome Park County Health Department as a new site implementing the National DPP. Park will be focusing on referring moms who had gestational diabetes to their DPP.

Become a National DPP Master Trainer The MDP is looking for 1-2 coaches to become trained as National DPP master trainers.

Coaches Resources
The Montana Diabetes Program (MDP) has a unique opportunity to receive some one-to-one technical assistance and support from our contact at the National Association of Chronic Disease Directors (NACDD) and would like to help your sites build the infrastructure to become an MDPP supplier.
