  • In 2021, alcohol continues to be the most frequently used substance among Montana high school students with a third (31%) of students in 9th through 12th grade reporting current alcohol use.
  • Most Montana parents (93%) agree they should discuss their children’s future personal choices about alcohol when they are older to prepare their children for when they turn 21. Learn more about starting a conversation with your children about the dangers of underaged drinking.
