MDT Civil 3D State Kit - Version 2.1.1
MDT Civil 3D State Kit version 2.1.1 has been released. Please refer to the MDT State Kit Updater to install this at your earliest convenience. This update includes high priority updates and bug fixes concerning the new Highways Engineer, Excel Manager, and code set style setting.
You'll find informative details of every update using the "What's New" button on the MDT State Kit Updater or on the MDT Design ribbon within Civil 3D. Note a few of the highlighted changes below.
Title Sheet Highways Engineer Seal
The Highways Engineer stamp and PE number have been updated to reflect the new Highways Engineer, David Holien. Refer to the Redefining Blocks in Civil 3D Files guide for help updating the Highways Engineer stamp in existing drawings.
Excel Manager
The MDT Excel Manager was updated to disconnect Bentley MicroStation DGN 8.9 Object Library from the references for the VBA project. This is known to cause a Microsoft Visual Basic for Applications Compile error “Can’t find project or library” when running the MDT Excel Manager without MicroStation installed.
The update can be repeated for all MDT Excel Manager MDT 2024: v01.00.00 files created prior to this update. Please use the "Open a Case" link below for assistance with this. The solution outlined in the Update Excel Manager Base File guide will also resolve this issue.
It is advised that all Road Design Quantity Manager base files MDT 2020: v02.10.00 and earlier being linked within Civil 3D files be updated to use the latest template. This would include any and all files created prior to State Kit release 2.1.0. The Update Excel Manager Base File guide outlines steps to assist with this.
