Border/Title Block
The designed, reviewed, checked by space in the sheet border was updated to allow more room for entries.
County and designed, reviewed, checked by data in the sheet border are supported with use of the sheet set manager. A single sheet may be given unique values by editing the sheet border attributes within the sheet. The sheet set properties may be applied to achieve the same values on the remaining sheets.
Action Required! Review the new support guide to sync the updated sheet border and sheet set attributes on existing projects: “MDT Title Block Names and Dates Update”
User Directory
A local “User” directory for users to add personal Civil 3D content is now available with the state kit. Files and folders can be freely added under the “User” directory.
The "User" directory supports a user palette. It can be used to manage subassembly/assembly files, store custom blocks, create and store tools, and more without interference from state kit updates. The palette is accessed from the Tool Palette within Civil 3D.
Need more details? The "MDT Civil 3D State Kit Overview" guide (also accessible within Civil 3D) provides additional information. A help guide can also be found within the User Palette Group inside Civil 3D. Go to Tool Palettes - All Palettes > MDT Groups > User Palette Group. Use the MDT logo to return to all palettes.
Cross Sections
Styles have been developed to support cross section creation and labeling for plan production. This is an arduous task you can now find state kit styles to help you out with.
Layer Translators
Layer translators for Electrical, Hydraulics, Right of Way, and Environmental have been added to the collection. Please consult available documentation and/or resources to receive the latest tips on file conversion.
