So, you want to sell wholesale?

The first thing you need to do is set your wholesale price which is generally half the retail price.  But, how do you calculate your retail price? 

Pricing can be emotional and complex, but having black-and-white numbers to back it up can help make these hard decisions a little easier.

A common mistake new businesses make is taking a guess at the retail price.  Don’t price your products based on comparisons or perceived value.  In order to have a profitable business, you need to build profit into your pricing from the beginning.....

Save the Date: The 2022 Made in Montana Tradeshow is scheduled for March 11 and 12 in Helena.  Exhibitor applications for the 2022 show will be available in late October.

406 Yoga Conference, October 15-17, Fairmont Hot Springs.  The 406 Yoga Conference vendor market is an opportunity to get your services and products directly into the hands of health-conscious consumers. The vendor market will be open to all conference attendees, teachers, presenters, and the general public.  Registration closes August 15.  Information and online registration available here.

Montana Food Show, October 25 in Missoula at the Hilton Garden Inn.  Hosted by the Montana Department of Agriculture.  This is a one day, wholesale food show connecting Montana food producers with buyers representing grocery, catering, hotels, distributing, and restaurant markets.  Contact Marty Earnheart to learn more and register.

HandMADE Montana organizes and presents the summer & holiday MADE fairs featuring over 200 local & regional artists and a handful of non profits.  Applications open for Fall & Holiday shows in Missoula and Helena.  Learn more about the shows here.
