Helena, Mont -- The Montana Invasive Species Council (MISC) will hold the next AIS Grant Hearing on Wednesday, March 18th, in Helena, MT. The hearing is scheduled from 9:00 am to 1:00 pm.
This year a total of 13 grant applications were received, requesting $387,889 in funding. The AIS grant program has $250,722 available in funding for FY26.

Woody Invasive Working Group meets March 24
The Woody Invasives Working Group will meet on Tuesday, March 24, at the Calvert Hotel meeting room in Lewistown. The meeting will begin at 9 am.  Palmer Amaranth & Waterhemp Task Force meets March 25
The Palmer Amaranth & Waterhemp Task Force will meet Wednesday, March 25, at the Eagles Club in Lewistown. The meeting will begin at 9 am. To register to attend email Josh Wagoner at josh.wagoner@mt.gov.
The goal of this meeting is to formulate an action plan for Montana to follow for the next 2 to 3 years. Guest speakers include:
