Start the day with clean shoes, gear and bike to ensure there are no seeds or plant parts from your last adventure.
Stay on marked or designated trails to keep invasive species populations localized for easier management and prevent introduction to new areas.
When your bike ride is done and before leaving the location, take time to clean the drive train, crank and other locations where plants could get caught.
Spray down your bike with water or compressed air to remove mud and plant parts from tires and fenders.
