It's Camping Season
RV Camping
- Sweep out the interior of your RV or camper prior to leaving home. Check for insects that might stow-away inside compartments or the interior space.
- Look for suspicious splotches on your camper or in your vehicles’ wheel wells and underside. Egg masses of invasive insects could look like dried mud. Clean off and dispose of suspicious splotches. (See Below)
- Spray down your camper and vehicle with water or compressed air to remove mud and plant parts from tires and fenders.

Tent Camping
- Clean your tent and hammocks before packing up by brushing off any plant parts, seeds, and dirt.
- Sweep out or shake out the interior of the tent prior to packing.
- When you return home setup tents, tarps, and hammocks to allow them to dry out and remove and remaining organic material.
