Lets Go Fishing!
- Clean off plants, animals, and mud from your watercraft and fishing gear before leaving the water access area. This includes waders, ropes, anchors, nets, fishing lines, and footwear.
- Paying attention to crevices and hidden areas on watercraft to ensure they are free of mud and vegetation.
- Drain water from your boat’s motor, bilge, bladder tanks, livewell or anyplace that can hold water.
- Dry everything thoroughly before moving between water bodies or wipe dry with a towel.
- Dispose of unwanted bait, fish parts, and packing materials in the trash; do not dump them in the water or on land.
- Never dump live fish or other organisms from one water body into another.
